Woman killed in Tarzana hit-and-run

TARZANA (CNS) - A woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Tarzana and police Wednesday are continuing their search for the motorist.

Officers were called to the 4200 block of Reseda Boulevard about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The woman, whose name was not immediately available, died at the scene.

According to the preliminary investigation, the woman was walking in an intersection when she was hit by a vehicle, which kept going, police said. No description was available of the hit-and-run vehicle or motorist.
