“The reusable red cup giveaway is available however you order, whether ordering in the Starbucks store, in the drive-thru, on the Starbucks app using the order ahead and pay feature, or through Starbucks Delivery (available through the Uber Eats, Door Dash and GrubHub apps),” said Starbucks. Those who order delivery through the Starbucks app will have a $0 delivery free through Nov. 17.
Once customers have their reusable red cups, they can clean them and bring them into any U.S. Starbucks to receive a $.10 discount on beverages and 25 bonus Stars for Starbucks Rewards members using the Starbucks app. This initiative is intended in part to help Starbucks reduce waste by 50% by 2030.
More changes are expected to come to Starbucks soon, Audacy reported last month. These include a renewed emphasis on in-person experiences and streamlining of modifications on the Starbucks menu.
