Dallas County announced 413 new coronavirus cases and 9 additional deaths on Wednesday.That brings the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 302. County judge Clay Jenkins says the governor will now be allowing jurisdictions to ask businesses to come up with guidelines requiring customers to wear masks."What we are finding more from the medical reports and doctors, is that the single most important thing we can do, more effective than washing hands or 6 feet distance, is to wear a mask," Jenkins says. He will be calling a special commissioners meeting to vote on requiring residents to wear masks. No date has been set.So far, 15,256 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Dallas County.
