DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The 12-year-old girl who was killed in a natural gas explosion at her home in Dallas will be honored today in Austin.
Dallas state Rep Rafael Anchia called on lawmakers to honor Linda "Michelita" Rogers in an effort to make sure this type of tragedy never happens again.
He says while her family and the community continue to mourn her loss it's important for lawmakers to fight to make sure all communities in Texas are safe.
