GRAND PRAIRIE (1080 KRLD) - The family of a Grand Prairie police officer has received $40,000 raised over the past six weeks since A.J. Castaneda was struck by a car and killed on the job.
A check was presented last night to create a trust fund on behalf of Castaneda's eleven-year-old autistic son.
Much of the money was raised through the sale of Back The Blue T-shirts.
