DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas police say someone shot fireworks at two officers from an apartment complex Thursday night.
Police say the officers were at a complex near Overton Road and I-45 about 10:45 Thursday evening.
Police say a group of people was gathered outside a building at the complex. They say the group was upset with the officers' presence, and one person shot a firework at the officers' car.
Police say the firework shattered the glass on the driver's side window. The glass flew into the car and onto the two officers inside.
Paramedics treated one officer at the scene for cuts from the broken glass. The other officer was not hurt.
Police say the person who shot the firework ran off. They have not made any arrests.
