DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A big mess in Grand Prairie this morning where an 18-wheeler rolled over and off I-30 and into a small lake near Loop 12 Walton Walker.
Just after 1:00 a.m. the semitruck crash through a guard-rail on the west-bound side, leaving the driver trapped in the wreckage in the water.
It's a very rough place for firefighters to work and it took awhile to extricate the driver and get him to the hospital.
Two lanes of west-bound I-30 were closed for the clean-up and investigation.
TXDOT expected the closure to last through at least 8:00 a.m.
