Billy Bob's in the Fort Worth Stockyards is due to reopen this morning at 11 a.m.
The honky-tonk has been closed since March because of the Coronavirus.
They've remained closed because the state categorizes them as a bar. But management appealed to Austin to be redesignated as a restaurant which would allow Billy Bob's to reopen with specified mask and social distancing rules.
Word came from Austin yesterday that the request had been approved.
