The phrase "Black Lives Matter" is now painted in large letters on the plaza in front of Dallas City Hall.

Painted with the city's permission, the phrase is one of the common slogan used during demonstrations over the in-custody death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Yesterday, a march was held from Dallas police headquarters to City Hall. After it was over, volunteers spent a few hours painting the slogan, using paint designed to wash away with water.

The mural is huge, spanning the length of city hall.
