Carrollton Police Arrest Woman Who Claims She Spread COVID-19

CARROLLTON (KRLD) - Carrollton police say they have arrested a woman they say claimed to have COVID-19 and was "willfully spreading it."

Police will charge 18-year-old Lorraine Maradiaga with making a terroristic threat, according to a tweet from the department.

"We have no confirmation Maradiaga is actually a threat to public health," the tweet said Sunday. "We are, however, taking her social media actions very seriously."
