DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is using his pull with Dallas-area bankers to get help for people and small businesses who are taking a hit from the Coronavirus.

With so many people unemployed, and so many small employers struggling for lack of customers, Cuban is asking bankers to make two-month loans to those with fewer than 500 employers.

The arrangement is the loans would be forgiven as long as the companies don't fire anyone during this crisis.

Cuban also wants banks to offer advances to customers against the federal Coronavirus aid checks due soon to every taxpayer.
