DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The Dallas Police Department has now identified the off-duty officer who was badly hurt in an off-duty crash on Sunday.
Officer Joseph George ran his personal car into a tree on Mockingbird Lane.
Last night, police would say only that George remains in critical condition.
Investigators suspect he may have been street racing when he lost control of his Mustang, striking a tree. They're still looking for the other car described only as a white, two-door Suzuki.
