IRVING (1080 KRLD) - Irving police have released a driver whose car crashed through the glass storefront of a Jewelry Exchange store on Highway 183 about 1:00 a.m. this morning.
Initially suspecting an attempted smash-and-grab burglary, police instead found the driver waiting for them when they arrived.
The driver co-operated, answering all their questions.
Police now believe it was simply an accident and they released the driver.
