DALLAS (KRLD) - Starting today, people impacted by the tornadoes in North Texas last month can apply for a federal disaster loan from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
You have to apply in person and you can do that at the Bachman Lake Branch Library. The loan office will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The loans are long term, low-interest loans and they are to cover costs not covered by insurance. Businesses can apply for up to $2 million, homeowners can apply for up to $400,000.
You have until Jan. 13 to apply.
