North Richland Hills (1080 KRLD) - A North Richland Hills motorcycle officer is recovering after his bike was hit by a car yesterday.
The officer, said to be a 25-year veteran with 20 years of motorcycle patrol, was turning into an apartment parking lot when he was struck by a car.
The officer was taken to the hospital to get checked out and sent home.
The driver was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way
