Sheriff's Deputies in Parker County have arrested a 20-year-old man on a charge of injury to a child. An eight-week-old boy from Springtown was rushed to the hospital last week when his mother found him to be lethargic and pale. The mother's boyfriend, 20-year-old Kaleb Eisenmann, had been watching the child.
"Eisenmann was watching the infant, a two year old and a six year old while the mother was at work," said Parker County Sheriff's Deputy Danie Huffman. She says he admitted that he got frustrated when the baby would not stop crying and placed the child down roughly on the bed. The baby suffered severe head trauma and hospital staffers say the child's injuries are consistent with abuse. The baby is currently in critical condition at Cook Children's Medical Center.
Eisenmann is charged with injury to a child. He is in the Parker County Jail on $50,000 bond.
