Southwest Airlines will conduct a test of thermal screening cameras at Love Field next month.
Those cameras will check passengers' temperatures before they get to the TSA check-point, according to officials.
City of Dallas Aviation Director Mark Duebner says they're glad Southwest is taking steps to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
Southwest will use the thermal cameras to gather data for research purposes.
Southwest Airlines also announced it won't be able to transport anyone over 2-years-old who won't wear a face mask, even those with medical conditions.
