They didn't have much to cheer about but fans were admitted to American Airlines Center last night, the first time the arena has been opened since the outbreak of the Coronavirus forced cancellation of Stars and Mavs games in March.
The Stars hosted a watch party for their Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals being played in Edmonton, Alberta.
While AAC holds more than 18,000 for hockey, last night's capacity was capped at 20% of that to accommodate social distancing.
As for the game itself, there wasn't much to like as the Las Vegas Golden Knights shut out the Stars 3-0 to even the best-of-seven series at a game apiece.
