FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - One of the most nerve-wracking things about this Coronavirus outbreak seems to be long delays in getting test results back.

Just ask TCU student Will Horn who tells NBC-5 he got tested at the student health center because he was feeling so terrible.

Tests showed it wasn't flu so they tested for Coronavirus. Before results came back, he felt worse and ended up at JPS to be treated for pneumonia.

After he was finally sent home to recuperate he learned he did, indeed, have the Coronavirus fully 16 days after his initial test.

Labs say they're simply flooded with tests to plow through and the backlog shows not sign of abating.
