DALLAS (KRLD) - Officers say someone from the Salvation Army called police to do a welfare check on some people living in a home at West Avenue P and South 35th street. When police arrived, they found two children under the age of five who were dead.
Cody Weems with Temple police says, "There was also an adult female who was in an unresponsive state. She was conscious but not responsive to officers. "
The woman is in the hospital. He says two other children are in Child Protective Service's custody. There's no word on how the children died or the woman's connection to the children.
