TEXAS (1080 KRLD)- Another 884,000 Americans filed for unemployment last week.
Texas economist Dr. Ray Perryman says, "Texas had a pretty hefty increase in our filings this week.
It was up 9,600 from the previous week." He says once we get past this pandemic things will change.
Dr. Perryman says, "We can grow pretty quickly. But, in the meantime, the government need to do something to prevent the suffering that's taking place right now."
These numbers just give us another indication of that both nationally and in Texas.
