Addison Weekend Drive-In
The Addison Circle District is hosting this series of outdoor concerts featuring popular DFW bands. Enjoy the shows from the comfort of your vehicle. Music will be transmitted via both speaker system and FM radio, providing excellent audio quality no matter where you are parked. These free concerts take place in an open, grass field. Attendees will be directed into the site and to the appropriate parking space by professional parking attendants. Vehicles will be spaced apart to ensure sufficient distance between groups. On Friday night, it’s Shot of Benatar and on Saturday, Even It Up.

Billy Bob’s Concerts
It’s been a long time coming, but concerts are finally back at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth. This weekend there are a full slate of performances. On Friday night, Kevin Fowler takes the stage, then on Saturday it’s the Josh Abbott Band. Billy Bob’s reminds you to arrive early, as COVID-19 protocols mean it will take longer than normal to get into the venue.

Dallas Arboretum: Dollar Days
The amazingly beautiful Dallas Arboretum is one of the most popular attractions during this time where it seems best to be outdoors. Evidently, it’s Fort Worth Burger week. So, in case you need an excuse to break that diet and indulge in a delicious burger, What’s Up Fort Worth is hosting Fort Worth Burger Week. Globe Life Field First Tours
You can’t attend Rangers games (yet)...but you can still be one of the first to see the new Globe Life Field. The Rangers have small group tours of their new air-conditioned home available every day. Can you believe this? High school football is back. Games are happening this weekend! For now, only smaller schools (4A and lower) can begin their seasons. So these small towns have the spotlight for the first few weeks. Last Ditch Drive-In Concert Series: Holly & The Mystery Lights
The pandemic has been extremely tough of the brewery business. Armadillo Brewing Company is getting creative with their concert series. They’re calling it a last ditch effort to stay in business while waiting to get the go ahead that it’s safe to reopen. So this concert with Holly & The Mystery Lights is being held drive-in style. There will be food (from Boca 31) and drinks for purchase. You’ll also need to purchase a spot to park your vehicle. No alcoholic beverages are allowed inside of vehicles. But you can sit in your lawn chair and enjoy yourself.

Mesquite Championship Rodeo: Finals
The best of the best compete in the Mesquite Championship Rodeo finals this Saturday night. The PRCA rodeo features bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, team roping and more. Klyde Warren Park - Saturday events
The big greenspace linking Uptown to Downtown Dallas has plenty to do on Saturday mornings. There’s a “Body Mountain Bootcamp” at 9 a.m., Yoga at 10 a.m., and Mindfulness Meditation at 11 a.m. Registration is required for each event.

Rooftop Cinema: Drive In at the Central
Remember when the “Leaning Tower of Dallas” was a thing for a couple weeks? Oh, how we wish for those simpler times. Well, on that site at the northeast corner of Central Expressway and Haskell, the Rooftop Cinema Club is setting up a drive-in theater. Movies will be projected onto a 52-foot screen. The skyline of Downtown Dallas will serve as a backdrop. Audio will be broadcast through the FM radio in your car. You can bring your own food, or purchase eats on site. There are also restrooms on site. There are plenty of flicks to choose from. Selena and Dazed and Confused play Thursday. Dirty Dancing and Friday on Friday, of all nights. Jurassic Park and Nightmare on Elm Street on Saturday. The Little Mermaid and Pulp Fiction on Sunday.

The Stockyards Championship Rodeo
Grab your boots and Cowboy hat! This rodeo is back! The alive and kicking rodeo is every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m. (Friday...it’s “Free Kid Friday”...buy an adult ticket and get a kid’s ticket free!) It's in the Cowtown Coliseum. Rodeo organizers say you can feel safe as you watch the live rodeo action because they are enforcing social distancing and everyone has to wear a facial covering. Giddy up!

Wide Open Improv: Improv in the Park(ing) Lot!
