DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The family of a 78-year-old Dallas woman killed in last week's drive-by shooting is wondering when will the South Dallas violence end?
Gloria Roque was simply sitting in her living room near Fair Park when a bullet from a drive-by shooter killed her as she watched television.
Last night, a vigil was held in her memory.
Meanwhile, her son Keith Lee wants to ignite a conversation about violence in South Dallas -- a neighborhood where State Troopers were asked to help patrol the streets. But they were pulled out after a barrage of criticism from community activists and Lee says the neighborhood has reverted to its previous crime levels.
