Plano Family Identified In Deadly Addison Plane Crash

PLANO (1080 KRLD) - Updated at 6:30 p.m. with names of those identified:

Two others identified were Steve and Gina Thelen of Plano. Thelen was the managing director of JLL, a real estate services company. Victoria Reynoso worked with Steve for over 6 years and says he always believed in giving back.

"He was very successful in the business he was in, but never hesitated to help others along the way. He taught me no matter how successful you are, it doesn't make you bigger or better than anyone else," Reynoso says

Statement from JLL:

"We are deeply saddened by the tragic accident that took place yesterday. Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies go out to Steve and Gina's family and friends during this difficult time. Steve was a valued friend and colleague to all of us, personally and professionally. They will both be deeply missed."

28 year old Matthew Palmer has also been identified as one of the victims.

 

Some of victims in Sunday's deadly small plane crash in Addison have been identified.

A Plano family of 4 have been identified as some of the 10 that were killed in Sunday's crash at the Addison Airport.

John Paul II High School in Plano sent a letter to families claiming one of it's students and her brother, mother and stepfather were on board the twin-engine Beechcraft BE-350 King Air that crashed into a hangar.

Alice Maritato, who was expected to graduate in 2022, as well as her brother Dylan, who went to All Saints Catholic School in 2020. Their mother Ornella Ellard and stepfather Brian Ellard also died in the crash. Ellard was the son of prominent Dallas businesswoman Jo Ellard.

The two pilots were also killed.

The family was on its way to a vacation in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

We expect to learn more about the crash this afternoon when the NTSB hold a 4:00 p.m. press conference.
