HOUSTON (1080 KRLD) - Police have arrested two suspects in the investigation of $5 million worth of art and other items stolen from the mansion of attorney and Houston mayoral candidate Tony Buzbee.
Harris County jail records show 36-year-old Nicholas Johnson was being held Saturday on a charge of theft of more than $300,000. A co-defendant, 33-year-old Julian Franklin, was jailed on a burglary of a habitation charge.
Buzbee says he awoke Feb. 4 to find a burglar in his River Oaks home, grabbed a gun and fired.
