GARLAND (KRLD) - The Grand Prairie Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a young couple.
The search continues this morning for a missing Grand Prairie couple and police fear the worse.
Mark Beseda with Grand Prairie police says a warrant had been issued for 28-year-old Alfonso Hernandez for assaulting 26-year-old Weltzin Garcia. Both have been missing since Tuesday.
"We are treating this as if a criminal offense did occur" says Beseda
Hernandez's car was found at White Rock Lake but there was no sign of the couple.
Their two kids are safe with family members. Police are asking anyone with any information to contact them.
