DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The severe weather that raked across North Texas left behind a trail of damage.

A power pole was blown over and is blocking a lane of traffic along Saginaw Main Street.

One area north of 820,  usinesses lost electricity and signs have been blown over. The manager of an oil change business took people to the pit where they normally work on cars.

Others were looking at damage outside a grocery store, where a grocery cart corral was blown over.

"It just started pouring like no other. It got windy as it started pouring, so you couldn't see anything" said one person waiting out the storm inside a local store.

High water was also blocking some roads. No one was hurt.

Thousands of power outtages have been reported across North Texas: 7,900 in Tarrant Co, 1,400 in Denton Co, 700 in Dallas Co.
