
A shelter in place order has been lifted the Texas A&M Commerce campus where the school says three people werev shot at a residence hall on Monday.
According to the school, the shooting happened at the Pride Rock residence hall, two people were killed. A third person has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Pride Rock is a three-story suite-style coed residence hall for freshmen.
The school has cancelled classes for the rest of the day and evening. University police have stationed officers throughout the campus, including all key gathering points, for the safety of the campus community.
