The Mills County Sheriff's Office received a report from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services that there were allegations of physical abuse at Ms. Sharons Daycare owned by Sharon Riewe in Goldthwaite, Texas.
Investigators conducted a number of interviews with parents and others and they determined children from three to eight years old had been abused.
Investigators say there had been other allegations of the same nature that had been investigated by the state in 2007 and 2013.
A Mills County grand jury returned indictments against Sharon Riewe on 13 counts of Injury to a Child.
She was released on bonds totaling $10,000.
