FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - The TEXRail is rolling after a delayed start. People can hop on the train Thursday.
It was delayed because of a signal issue and it took some time for agents with the Federal Railroad Administration to get out to check on it because the partial shutdown left them short-handed.
The train runs from downtown Fort Worth through North Richland Hills and Grapevine, eventually ending up at DFW Airport.
The first train left at 3:25 a.m.
People can try out the train for free until February 1.
