Nick Sirianni confirmed on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show that quarterback Jalen Hurts has a sprained shoulder, but it is "not something we deem to be long-term."

Hurts had 17 rush attempts, while Miles Sanders finished the game with 11. The Eagles also threw the ball 37 times and the coaching staff received criticism for not using Sanders enough. Sirianni did admit the Eagles need to get Sanders some more called runs early in the game, saying that's "one hundred percent on me."

But Sirianni also admitted the Bears' defensive game plan swayed the Eagles' to a pass heavy attack.

"They devoted a lot of efforts to the run game...and giving us one on ones," Sirianni said. "And the indication of the games that A.J. [Brown] and DeVonta [Smith] had. I know what they're ranked in the run game, but if a team wants to say I'm going all in and you're going to have to throw to beat us, that's what some teams are going to do. And we're lucky enough that we're able to be balanced and to be able to adjust and say OK, you're doing that, we're doing this. A.J. had 181 yards, DeVonta had 126 yards. So if they played the style that they were playing, we knew we could hurt them on the outside."

Sirianni confirmed this is play where Hurts injured his right shoulder.

Hurts stayed in the game and made some big plays after the injury. "He just went about his business and played through it. That's toughness," Sirianni said on Tuesday.

If Gardner Minshew is forced to start, Sirianni said Minshew will be ready to roll.

"If he has to go, we'll have 100-percent confidence in him because he can ball...He's a winner and that's all he knows how to do."
