Central Market and the city of Fort Worth are kicking off the holiday season early today with a special dinner for 10,000 people.

It's called the Feast of Sharing and it's happening Wednesday afternoon at Dickie's Arena in Fort Worth, and all are welcome.

Central Market's Mobile Kitchen is cooking up a special holiday meal including 2,500 pounds each of brisket and potato salad, 2,000 pounds of sausage, 10,000 dinner rolls, and over 1,200 pumpkin pies. Not exactly Thanksgiving dinner, but a feast nonetheless.

More than 1,000 volunteers from Central Market/H-E-B stores and individuals and organizations from throughout the Fort Worth community will be on hand to dish up and serve the dinner,

There will be music from local entertainers and a Kid Zone where Santa is expected to make an appearance.

Central Market will host the same Feast this Saturday in Dallas at Fair Park from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. It's all free and all are welcome.
