Many fans of ‘The Simpsons’ have wished they were in the fictional Springfield as opposed to the cities they live in. Luckily for Simpsons’ fans in DFW, two bars in the area will soon be giving them the chance to live out those dreams.
The Whippersnapper and High Fives recently unveiled plans to transform into Simpsons’ themed bars starting next month.
Both DFW bars are in walking distance of each other, and have a history of becoming themed pop up bars.
Previously they have used themes such as; Harry Potter, The Office and Family Guy. Now, they will take on ‘The Simpsons,’ as High Fives becomes ‘Krusty Burger’ and The Whippersnapper becomes ‘Moe’s Tavern.’ The bars will remain that way for two months, starting on June 11, according to Dallas Morning News.
Along with the decorations, the bars will serve Duff Beer, which is actually a 40-ounce Miller High Life, as well as Simpson’s themed snacks. “We’ve certainly had our eyes on doing a Simpsons-themed pop-up since we started doing these,” said co-founder Phil Schanbaum. For any Simpsons fan, this will soon become their go-to drinking spot.
