The travel advisory from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) warns people in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana that there is an increased risk of civil and constitutional rights violations in Texas.

The ACLU says it's because of the state immigration bill that was recently signed into law.

The advisory points out that in some cases, judges who are not trained in immigration law will be able to order people to be deported.

The ACLU is advising anyone traveling to Texas to be prepared for the possibility of unjust arrest or deportation.
