Airlines have started to cancel flights ahead of the severe weather expected to hit North Texas Wednesday afternoon into the evening.

Dallas Love Field Airport has already scrubbed around 100 flights. Most who made it to the airport are optimistic that they will get to where they are going on time. Especially those who are traveling east ahead of the front.

Some fliers have already had to make changes. One man tells KRLD reporter L.P Phillips that he had a late afternoon flight that was canceled so he moved all his meetings up to make an earlier flight during the noon hour.

At DFW International Airport hundreds of flights are canceled. Those who have flights are keeping their fingers crossed.
