American Airlines Flight attendants are picketing outside of DFW International Airport Thursday and say they're closer to a strike than they have been in more than 30 years.
Pickets like this one are actually taking part in 30 cities across the world.
The one here got underway at 11 a.m. on the upper level of Terminal D.
The flight attendants say they haven't had a raise in the past five years and they're demanding a new contract with better pay and working conditions.
The company offered a 17% pay hike - but the union turned it down.
American Airlines says reaching an agreement with the nearly 27,000 flight attendants remains a priority and they continue to meet with them regularly hoping to get a deal done.
