For the second time in two days a teenager has been wounded in a Fort Worth shooting.
Late Monday night, just past 11 p.m. police say a boy was found bleeding from a leg wound at The Firestone, an apartment complex on West 7th near Henderson.
The boy said he'd been shot about a mile away near Garvey and Cold Springs Road. For some reason, someone dropped him off at the apartment complex rather than at a hospital.
Paramedics did take him to the hospital in stable condition. Fort Worth police have not said why the boy was shot nor who did it.
Sunday afternoon, another teen was shot inside a home on Maddie Avenue in far north Fort Worth. That boy was rushed to a local hospital and is listen in critical condition. The locations are more than 15 miles apart and detectives see no connection.
