An elderly Arlington man has died in a bizarre accident at his home last night.
Arlington Police say just before 6 p.m. Jerry Bagley drove his car from his driveway through a fence and into the backyard pool at his home on Comanche Court near I-30 and North Fielder.
Police and firefighters were called and pulled him from his car and rushed him to ca local hospital, but the 79-year-old Bagley was pronounced dead just before 7 p.m.
Investigators believe he suffered a medical episode, causing his foot to press down on the accelerator, sending his car out of control and into the pool.
