The crew on board the Artemis II moon mission spoke Tuesday to the crew on board the International Space Station.
"I remember having coffee and sitting with you guys just before I left to fly up here," radioed the International Space Station to Artemis. "This is such a special opportunity."
Both crews poked a little fun at the other during their space-to-space conversation including when the Station crew pulled a joke about the Artemis crew breaking the record of being the farthest humans away from the Earth.
"We ran to the far end of the Space Station when you guys were on the other side so we could claim we were the furthest away from you in that moment," said one of the International Space Station crew members.
Artemis II's Orion spacecraft is headed for home.
They are expected to splash down in the Pacific Ocean Friday evening.
