A Mineral Wells man has now died after being beaten into unconsciousness last week.
On December 18th police reports say a man identified as Doug Warren was found unconscious outside of a Mineral Wells Whataburger restaurant.
He was flown to Harris Methodist in Fort Worth where he died this week.
Two men were arrested in the beating but were released on bail. Now, with Warren's death Mineral Wells police say they will wait for the autopsy results before sending the case to the District Attorney to determine if elevated charges will be filed.
