A Grapevine man is off the hook for charges in Idaho where he and 31 other members of an alleged nationalist group were arrested for trying to disrupt a Pride demonstration last year.
According to court papers, Thomas Rousseau of Grapevine was the leader of the group Patriot Front. And they had all packed into a U-Haul truck that was headed to the town of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho when they were pulled over by police.
Police say they intended to disrupt and antagonize the Pride demonstration.
But now the misdemeanor charge against Rousseau has been dismissed. His attorney, Kinzo Mihara, says a cell phone, that was a key piece of evidence, has gone missing.
The judge has dismissed the case. Coeur D'Lene prosecutors could not be reached for comment.
