A hat trick for the city of Little Elm. Along with being both a Texas Certified Tourism Friendly and Film Friendly city, they've also just been designated a Music Friendly community.
They're the 75th city in Texas to receive that designation. State leaders are congratulating the city. They say that with all three of these cultural achievements, it goes to show that Little Elm is a growing hub for entertainment and creativity.
Some of the music events in the city include its Lakefront Concert Series, Brew & Que, and Autumn Fest. A ceremony will be held next Tuesday at Little Elm's Town Hall to celebrate its Music Friendly designation.
Statewide, the Texas music industry accounts for 196,000 direct and indirect permanent jobs and generates nearly $32 billion in yearly economic activity.
