The Colleyville community came together last night to fight racism through a service celebrating people of all faiths and backgrounds.

The gathering, called 'Colleyville Strong', has been planned ever since members of a Colleyville synagogue were taken hostage by a gunman last month.
But after racist flyers were dropped in people’s yards over the weekend, people gathered with a renewed sense of purpose.
"We have three mosques, we have Catholics and Baptists, we have Buddhists, we have the synagogue," one woman tells NBC 5. "Any denomination lives in this community. So, they picked the wrong town."
Colleyville Mayor Richard Newton says he believes the flyers are part of a nationally coordinated effort. They’ve also been found in Garland, San Francisco, Miami and Denver.
Mayor Newton released the following statement:
“I am saddened that individuals chose to bring this intolerance to Colleyville. These viewpoints do not reflect those I find in our community members. Our citizens have consistently chosen to love and support one another, no matter their religious beliefs or heritage.”
