The suspect in a fatal shooting in McKinney back in July is behind bars this morning.
Police reports show two people were shot at an apartment complex in McKinney on the night of July 4th. One of the victims died.
Police identified 24-year-old Joshua Darnell Lockett as the suspect in the shooting. They worked with the US Marshals Office to track him down and arrested him in Dallas.
Lockett is accused of murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and several other charges. He was one of the fugitives on the "Texas Ten Most Wanted" list issued by the DPS.
