The Dallas County Health and Human Services building remains closed today following Thursday's reports of gunfire.

Dallas County Sheriff's Deputies were called out to the building along the Stemmons Freeway service road near Wycliff Ave because a worker on the fifth floor thought she heard gunshots one floor below.

Dallas County Sheriff Marion Brown says they found no evidence of a shooting.

The building is closed today out of caution and to continue the investigation.

Just three months ago two people, including an employee, died in a murder-suicide at the Dallas County Medical Examiner building which is right next door to the Health and Human Services headquarters.
