Dallas City Leaders are trying a new approach to help out those who are out living on the street.
On Saturday, a fair was held in hopes of connecting those less fortunate with the proper resources, including housing help, job training, and mental health services
Organizers say that the goal was to change the cities strategies on outreach.
According to the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance, there were more than 37,000 people in Dallas experiencing homelessness in 2019.
Of that more than 11,000 had no form of shelter.
