DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- The City of Dallas is re-opening its mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic today. It's being set up in the parking lot of the Potter's House Church in southwest Dallas.
The clinic will have 8.000 doses of Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine to distribute between now and Saturday. Of those, 5,000 are earmarked as first doses. The remaining 3,000 will be set aside for patients receiving their second dose. Patients do need to receive an appointment in advance by registering through Dallas county's waiting list at www.DallasCountyCovid.org or by calling 1-855-466-8639.
The City of Dallas is no longer operating a mass vaccination clinic at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. City staffers are assisting with the clinic run by Dallas County at Fair Park.
All Texans age 16 and up are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.
