A motorcyclist is in the hospital after being run down in Dallas early Thursday morning.
Just before 1 a.m. officials say a car struck a motorcycle rider on Cedar Springs Road near Crestview, about a mile south of Dallas Love Field.
The motorcyclist was seriously hurt but his precise condition has not been released.
Reports say the driver of the car that hit him stopped only to bail out and get away on foot. Police are still looking for him.
Crime scene technicians closely examined the car and the motorcycle for evidence but there's no information on the driver.
