Dallas police have more information about an animal cruelty case where a dog was shot earlier this month.
Officials say the dog, possibly a pitbull or a pit mix, was shot on April 1st on Beauchamp Street near East Illinois in East Oak Cliff.
Police report the dog is receiving medical care and seems to be doing well. Detectives have no information about the shooter.
