Dallas (1080 KRLD) - Dallas Police have arrested 59-year-old Volney Woods Jr. in a murder on Saturday morning.
Police were called to a shooting at 11:54 a.m. in the 10600 block of Grady Lane where they found 52-year-old Luis Cepeda Lopez lying on the ground in an open section of a construction site.
Once SWAT had deemed the location safe, Lopez was pronounced dead on the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue.
Woods is being held at the Dallas County Jail charged with murder. His bond is set at $350,000.
